SCHOOL BURGLARIZED, YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE HOW THE OWNER REACTED

The PDL Academy in Orange Hill, Brown’s Town, was on Thursday burglarized by hoodlum; you would not believe how the Owner/Manager of the school – Patricia Laird – reacted.

Ms. Laird took to Facebook to publish a letter to the crooks pointing out her utter disgust and more importantly the importance of the school in the community.

The veteran educator has used the opportunity to freshen up the school by throwing a new coat of paint on the garage.

The letter is as follows:

Dear Mr. Scum Bag,

I do hope that when this letter reaches you it will find you in the best of health. I am very sorry to let you know that after you have worked so hard going through the Filing Cabinets, the cupboards in the classrooms and the kitchen at the school you didn’t find what you were looking for.

Just to let you know that you have left your cigarette on the verandah, so sorry that instead of gaining something, you lost something.

WHEN HAVE WE COME TO THIS?

The sudden spate of murders and other bizarre acts against our women and children have us all in bewilderment and the big question is being asked, WHEN HAVE WE COME TO THIS?

Personally speaking, we have come to this because the VILLAGE is no longer welcome in raising the child. The “weh yuh a watch mi Pickney Fah mentality” has taken over and our kids are on their own.

WHEN HAVE WE COME TO THIS? We have come to this because scolding kids is seen as making them unhappy .

WHEN HAVE WE COME TO THIS? We have come to this because parents no longer rule children, children rule parents.

WHEN HAVE WE COME TO THIS? Children are no longer taught the value of work and what it means to be responsible.

WHEN HAVE WE COME TO THIS? We have come to this because the MOEY is the new INDECOM so teachers spend more time watching their backs instead of disciplining children.

WHEN HAVE WE COME TO THIS? We have come to this because there is no punishment for CRIMES committed and those who have committed the crimes are often treated with respect while the victims and their families are left feeling GUILTY.

WHEN HAVE WE COME TO THIS? We have come to this because things that were once seen as distasteful are being seen as CUTE and they make us famous.

WHEN HAVE WE COME TO THIS? We have come to this because if values are upheld you are being seen as OLD FASHIONED.

WHEN HAVE WE COME TO THIS? We have come to this because there is a GENERATION GAP.. We are now suffering from a MORAL DEPRIVATION and we will continue to ask the question, WHEN HAVE WE COME TO THIS.
